Crispin is a special little guy who has just joined the ranks of NLOL. He was brought into Chicago's Animal Care and Control after an unknown person shot him in the rear end. Fortunately for Crispin, he survived both the gunshot wound and the surgery that followed, and now you'd never know that he was even shot - his wound is healed, his tail still wags, and his outlook is just as optimistic as ever!

Not only is Crispin an absolutely gorgeous little dude, but he has that charming personality to match his looks. He's your typical little puppy, happy, silly, playful and full of life! He's a smart little guy and is eager to please. He loves learning and is becoming a champ at sitting and learning the "down" command. Crispin is fantastic with people and loves the company of his doggie friends. Crispin has also taken on the little brother role with his NLOL buddy, Quinn. Immediately Crispin and Quinn became best friends. We think they are canine soul mates. Quinn is a very shy timid pup, and Cripsin has given her the courage and confidence to come out of her shell and learn that the world isn't such a scary place. They are the cutest little pair and have really bonded. While we aren't looking to adopt them together, we would never deny the chance of them going to the same home if the opportunity arose. Because Crispin is a puppy he will require a dedicated family to provide him with all the things puppies require. Plenty of exercise, socialization, training and TLC! We know Crispin is great with people and great with dogs, but aren't sure how he'd do with a Mr. or Miss Kitty. If a potential applicant does have a cat, we'd be happy to cat test Crispin to see if he could co-exist in a kitty household.
