Montana joined the NLOL family just recently through the request of a partner facility. You see, Montana has had quite a big life for someone so small. She was initially adopted from Chicago Animal Care and Control and lived in a loving home, but unfortunately her owner fell terminally ill and was no longer able to care for this bundle of energy. Lucky for us, this little pumpkin fit right in and she is now looking for her new home with NLOL.
Montana is full grown but still has a healthy dose of puppy energy. She does well with most dogs but is still learning how to share her toys and treats. She would thrive with a new home who is interested in training, walks outside and some good old playtime. Being as she is a smaller bundle than most, she would probably do well in any size home.
Montana is definitely a shepherd mix as she is a quick learner with a bit of a stubborn streak. She just needs some guidance in order to feel her world righted again. We have not kid- or cat-tested her yet, but we would be happy to.
