Seven year old New Leash on Life Chicago
volunteer Ian and his friends had their
latest craft sale to benefit NLOL on May 5th at Kiehl's.
Earlier in the week, Ian appeared on the
Martha Stewart Show to talk about his craft company, Ian's Bead Company, and his work with NLOL. On the show, Martha presented Ian with a $1000 donation and Kiehl's also donated $1000. During the broadcast, Martha asked viewers in the Chicago area to stop by Ian's sale. AND THEY DID! Ian and his friends were swamped with customers and the
kids raised $1283 at the sale. Moreover, one viewer from Denver arranged a trip to Chicago so she could come to the sale and was one of Ian's biggest customers. On May 5th, Ian
presented NLOL with $3283 and he has received more donations since! In addition, everyone at the sale met the NLOL dogs who were on hand to greet customers and tell everyone about NLOL.
Once again, we are grateful to Kiehl's for the opportunity to have our dogs and Ian's sale in their beautiful store!

Ian will hold a sale during the late summer and mark your calendar for Ian's Bead Company's Holiday Craft Sale Extravaganza on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 at Kiehl's 907 W. Armitage in Chicago from 12-3pm.
