Magnolia has been with NLOL for one year this July and she's had a rough time. First, she was involved in a nasty fight that required several thousand dollars worth of surgery to ensure her survival. Next, she was mistakenly diagnosed with bone cancer, and after many expensive tests we were relieved to find that she did not have cancer, but instead she was correctly diagnosed with a dying spleen. To cap it all off, after her splenectomy, we discovered that she has a fungal infection in her left hip joint. The infection cannot be reached without removing the hip joint, so Magnolia will undergo a type of hip surgery called Femoral Head Osteotomy to remove the joint and the infection all at once.
We can only afford to provide Magnolia and other dogs like her this level of care because of your generous donations! Each donation counts, no matter how small - every dollar adds up, and every cent goes directly toward the care of our dogs. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation toward Magnolia's surgery today. How can you resist that smiling face! |
