Our organization relies almost entirely on donations from private parties. Each
year, thousands of companion animals are killed in Los Angeles. These
animals deserve the chance to be great companions, rescued and placed into
loving homes or trained to become therapy or assistance dogs. Since its
inception in 1997, NLOL has been successful in rescuing over 5,000 animals as well
as over 200 "Ruffugees" from the Katrina and Rita hurricanes, thanks to the
concern and generosity of people like you. A small paid staff and
hundreds of volunteers help make these miracles happen, but we need your
help to continue our work! |
