It is the goal of New Leash On Life to aid homeless and
forgotten animals in finding them new loving homes, but we can't do it
alone. It is a mammoth task.
There are many ways you can get involved!
Become a volunteer and help out at our E.R.A.Center ("The
Ranch"), adoptions and special events! For information about

Every year, thousands upon thousands of
L.A.'s pets are put to death for no reason. These unwanted,
sometimes abused, sometimes sick animals are the result of careless
breeding and thoughtless actions. Owners turn in their animals
knowing they may be euthanized for absurd reasons, and we have heard
them all:
"He has black fur and I just put in white carpet!"
It is the goal of New Leash On Life to aid
these forgotten animals in finding new loving homes, but we can't do it
alone. It is a mammoth task. We have a fantastic band of
volunteers who help with all aspects of our organization - fostering pets,
mobile pet adoptions, home checks, taking pets to the vet, administrative
work and even maintaining this web site! But love doesn't buy all
the necessities to keep us running and successful. This is where you
come in. This is where you can help!
Generous donations from kind individuals
such as yourself is the reason New Leash On Life can continue to save the
lives of L.A.'s unwanted pets.
Your donation enables us to first save a
pet from euthanasia, but then your donation really goes to work! If
the animal is sick, the veterinary costs can be high but thanks to the
generosity of animal lovers, sick animals under the wing of NLOL will
receive all the care they need to get well. All the pets searching
for loving homes need to be spayed or neutered - the key to reducing the
number of unwanted pets! Of course, there is food to buy and the odd
chewy toy! Your dollar stretches to stationery, printing costs and
office supplies.
And with the development and maintenance of our 13-acre
E.R.A.Center, we need your help more than
ever! We finally have a location that will allow us to rescue even
more animals in need, but we need you to help us maintain this beautiful
property and give these animals a safe haven until their permanent homes
can be found.
