Ranch Update!
We are rescuers. It’s what we do. Every now and then, it’s critical to
step back and look at what’s really important. We’ve always known at
NLOL that our mission was to save dogs, but I don’t think we realized
how deeply in our bones that mission lived –until we were at risk of
losing the Ranch. Clearly, we’re not alone in that awakening. THANK YOU to our supporters, who are coming through so faithfully to keep us open for the time being. THANK YOU to our staff, who have worked so hard to keep our animals the best-cared-for-rescues ever. THANK YOU to our volunteers, who
keep coming to the Ranch to walk the dogs, talk to them and keep them
happy, exercised, and entertained! This is where we are right now: Because of your contributions, the success of our Boarding during the holidays and our E-Bay auction, we are able to keep the Ranch open and working for a while longer. Please spread the word that NLOL is OPEN FOR BOARDING on an on-going basis. We have placed over 10 dogs since November!! Our team rocks!! Additionally, we wanted to do something to honor our Bri, Jen, and Diane for the amazing work they’ve done during these hard times. We knew the tribute that would mean the most to them would be to rescue from the shelter in their names. -Then we had a special donation
that was tied to our traditional Holiday Rescue! That allowed Bobby to
go to the shelter and find us a few new pups (all of them unbelievably
adorable!) who have just gone up on our webpage. That brings us full circle. We are rescuers. It’s what we do.
Despite enormous odds, we work, we donate, we volunteer, we board,
we auction so that we can rescue dogs that are abandoned, thrown away,
